Chronic Happiness is John Helix’s sonic chronicle of a detached and disillusioned psychological landscape. The highly sardonic lyrics and reflect an exhausted sense of happiness that affects Helix like a chronic condition. The music ranges from playful and energetic to melancholy and despondent.  Helix hopes to have melded the album’s major influences (Elliott Smith, Elton John, and The Beatles) into a highly thematic Elliott’s-vocals-meet-Elton’s-piano-meet-Paul’s-bass-meet-Helix’s-Weltschmerz concept album.  Enjoy listening to the entire album here as often as you'd like or buy it and download it to your mobile devices.  If you like it, be sure to tell your friends and like our facebook page.
